No. 14 – January 2025

Let’s show our dissatisfaction

Here’s an overview of the latest developments since the publications issued
on December 17 and 20

THE PROCEDURES FOR ESSENTIAL SERVICES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED, WE’LL SOON HAVE THE RIGHT TO STRIKE

December 23 and 27: Legal arguments submitted concerning essential services to be
maintained in event of strike

January 8, 9, and 10: Reconciliation concerning essential services, at the Tribunal’s
request, with employers from the four university health centres

January 15: Judgment reserved by the Tribunal with respect to an upcoming ruling on the level of essential services in event of strike

NEGOTIATIONS CONTINUE, BUT WE'RE STILL FAR FROM AN AGREEMENT

January 15: Impasse at the negotiating table

January 23 and February 3: Continuation of “exploratory discussions” between the parties on less contentious aspects
