Last March, more than 90% of members adopted the principles of our future new collective agreement. In the months that followed, we continued the legal work of negotiating all the official texts intended to become the new articles of the agreement. This work was slowed by government representatives' attempts to add elements to the texts that, in our opinion, had never been agreed upon between the parties. Fortunately, they backed down, and we were able to complete the drafting of the texts.
In the last few days, we have therefore sent the government a final version of the collective agreement signed by the presidents of the federation and affiliated associations. We have been informed that this text was deemed consistent with the agreement between the parties and that it is now moving on to the final stage of the ratification process, namely the signature of the Minister of Health. At this stage, we do not know how much time will be required to obtain this signature. However, the content of the agreement remains confidential, as stipulated in the agreement in principle, until the final signature.
Of course, we will inform you promptly as soon as everything is signed and you will receive detailed information presenting the new provisions in effect. However, remember that the agreement provides for deadlines, particularly for the payment of new salaries and salary retroactivity since 2021 (including 60 days for the payment of salary retroactivity). Other new provisions of the agreement also provide for implementation deadlines. You will therefore have all the relevant information before this actually applies.
Finally, we remind you that until the new agreement comes into force, the current conditions set out in the text available on all our platforms will still apply.
